Prodac Launches Elecpro®, Its New Welding Electrode Brand

At Prodac Bekaert, we are constantly innovating our products and processes to offer the market better and more comprehensive solutions for various industries. With this goal in mind, we are proud to announce the launch of our new welding electrodes: Elecpro®, a product 100% manufactured in Peru.

We will offer two commercial grades: E-6011 (cellulosic) and E-7018 (low-hydrogen rutile). After evaluating the challenges welders face with the drawbacks of products currently available in the market, we have developed this new solution to deliver superior quality with numerous advantages.

One of the standout features is the ease of slag removal, which translates into significant savings in both effort and man-hours.
To further support our clients’ operational efficiency, the new electrodes can be used at low amperage, helping to reduce energy consumption. Another key element to ensure excellent welding performance is ease of arc control—another benefit built into this product. Finally, its advanced technology and premium quality result in lower emissions of toxic fumes, helping welders reduce exposure and maintain better visibility, which is crucial for achieving high-quality work.
